Wentworth Castle Gardens
One of the most important historic gardens in the North of England, this hidden gem celebrates its 300th anniversary in 2009.

Rare formal gardens have been rediscovered, National Collections of Rhododendrons, Camellias and Magnolias enhanced, and over 100,000 bulbs planted throughout the 60 acre Pleasure Garden to create a carpet of colour.
Historic Parkland
Beyond the Gardens over 500 acres of historic Parkland can be explored via the new Monument Trail, a 2 mile path that links several restored follies and native woods. Many of the 26 listed buildings and monuments are being repaired and opened for visitors. With its atmospheric views, woodland walks and majestic follies - including a dramatic viewing platform at the top of Stainborough Castle - there is something for everyone to enjoy throughout the year.
Children's playground

The magnificent new playground was inspired by the Gardens and wonderful collection of monuments and follies that can be found across the estate. There is no entrance charge to use the playground, although if not visiting the Gardens you will have to pay a car park charge of £3.00.
